Caparol Haftgrund Adhesive Wall Primer is a professional-grade, trade-favourite primer designed for both interior and exterior surfaces. This white pigmented primer creates the perfect base for finishing coats, ensuring improved adhesion and a longer-lasting finish.
Suitable for use on a wide range of substrates, including previously painted surfaces, gypsum boards, and interior plasters, it’s also ideal as a priming coat before wallpapering on smooth, slightly absorbent surfaces.
Its solvent-free, preservative-free formula is safe to work with, while its ability to extend the open time for subsequent coats makes it a reliable choice for professional decorating projects. With a recoat time of around 12 hours (depending on conditions), this versatile primer delivers outstanding performance for both new work and renovation projects.
When applied, the Haftgrund has a milky appearance and becomes fully solid when fully cured, ready for the topcoat.
